If you love what you do, you can’t do it wrong.

I have been studying Structural Engineering since fall 2010 at University of California, San Diego.  The great passion for mathematics, physics, and in general, analytical sciences was the main reason that I chose this major. Along with the passion to learn, was the eagerness to teach, once I realized how satisfactory of a feeling it is. I have been teaching students in groups and private since the early days in my higher level education in community college.

Mathematics ( Trigonometry, Algebra, Calculus) , Physics (Mechanics and Dynamics) have been the two subjects that I’ve tutored the most in the last 3 years, along with  me being a Language Lab coordinator which involved tutoring ESL (English as a Second Language) to students for two years.  Doing all of these and being a full-time student at the same time, I’ve managed to get placed in to Dean’s list every year of my college education because of my academic accomplishments and maintaining them. It all has been possible because I have loved what I do.

Being with different students in years, I’ve learned that just knowing a subject well, doesn’t make someone to be a good tutor. The most important factor is communication and how a teacher is flexible with different attitudes and learning skills that he faces time to time.  My main goal has been to make that communication smoother and smoother everyday so I can see what I do and the knowledge I teach blossoms in my students’ minds and skills.
